Wallace, April 15 -- Mrs. Rosannah Manly Courtney, 74, died at 8:50 a.m. Friday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Nora Collins of Wallace. Mrs. Courtney, who made her home with her daughter, had been ill about a week. She was born April 2, 1874, the d/o Andrew J. and Margaret Daily Hutts Manly. Surviving are a son, Rev. Jesse Phipps of West Terre Haute, Ind; twin daughters, Mrs. Nora Collins at whose home she died and Mrs. Lora Ruffner of Lafayette; two stepsons, Marion and Leo Courtney of Indianapolis; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Florence White and Mrs. Thelma Thompson of Crawfordsville; 13 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. A son preceded her in death. Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the Wallace Christian Church. Burial in Oak Hill Cemetery, Crawfordsville.
